from family rumor, i understand she was full blooded German and that her parents spoke very little English. do you have anything like this in your info?

On August 15 1876 John B Lay wrote his last will. John left all the real estate property to his second wife Rosa Lay. To his sons by his late first wife John G, George F., and Leonard Lay he left $25.00 each. His son Micheal Lay (also by first wife) will be given the real estate property at the time of Rosa's death. Providing he cares for Rosa after John has passed away.
