New Albany, Indiana, June 25-Joseph Taylor of Saltilloville, while drunk Thursday night, killed his sister and wounded his mother so that she will be a cripple for life. Taylor objected to a young man with whom his sister kept company and forbade her to see him again. Taylor went to Paoli and during his absence his sister took a buggy ride with her lover. Upon their return, he heard of it and, loading his shotgun, he went to his mother's home and shot the girl. His mother tried to interfere, and he turned the gun on her. Taylor was arrested.
