Adams Cemetery - Provine

Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Clark Co., Indiana: Adams Cemetery - Provine

I am trying to locate the Adams Cemetery in Washington Township, Clark Co., Indiana. The references that I have found all say that it is in Washington Township but then give Latitude and Longitude (382334N, 0854041W) which place it in Utica Township. This seems to be the Adams Family Cemetery, which I think is entirely different.

My ancestors in the cemetery are William Provine (buried in 1815) and three of his children, Peggy (1815), John (1821), and Mary Provine Walker (1888). Mary's husband, William Walker (1870) is also buried there. William Provine moved from Kentucky to Clark Co. in 1806 or 1807. He settled on Tract 198 in what is now Washington Township, on Fourteen Mile Creek, just below the junction of the East and West Forks, where he built a grist mill. It was later owned by the Walker family and so became known as Walker's Mill.

Any help in locating the cemetery would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
