Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Floyd Co., Indiana: Seeking information on the Marsh family of New Albany, Floyd county, IN

My gr gr gr gmother Catherine A. Marsh married Benjamin Ross Edwards in 1828, and show up in the 1830 census in New Albany, IN. They list 2 dtrs at this time, under 10.
They moved to Alexandria, La. shortly thereafter where Benjamin Ross died in 1832.
Subsequently Catherine married a Mr. Prewitt/Pruitt/Pruett and a Kate Prewitt shows up in the 1840 census living with Catherine Marsh in New Albany.
Ann Edwards married D.D. Atkinson of Louisville, Jefferson County, KY somewhere in the late 1840's and in the 1850 Census and some of the Prewitts are now listed living with her. D.D, is listed as "grocer". They have several children at the time, both male and female.
Anne D/changed to Nannie D. married William L. Shepard of New Orleans, La.
Any information on these families would be appreciated.
