I found a Caleb Smith b. 1708 in Ireland. Some of his offspring immigrated to Jeff. Co, KY from Shenandoah Co, VA
Caleb Smith married a Sarah Parker about 1730. I'll bet anything you connect to this man!

Looking for parents of Caleb Booth Smith, born in 1801 in Jefferson Co. Married Mary A. Reuck March 1825 in Jefferson Co., Moved to Hancock Co., IL. in 1835-36. Have been unable to locate parents of Caleb. Need help! Father Smith born in Wales, Mother born in Virginia. Thanks Don Johnson, drmajo@frontiernet.net
