Mr. Reid brought me this marriage certificate of Clinton E. ROSS and Rosa A. RIGSBY that he found behind a picture he had bought at a yard sale. Both were listed as being from Chesterfield, (Macoupin Co.) Illinois and being married on October 04, 1911 in Springfield, (Sangamon Co.) Illinois. Mr. Reid had wrote to the Springfield, IL Camber of Commerce and received no reply. Then, he read the newspaper article at URL: http://www.courier-journal.com/cjextra/columns/hill/hill20000803.html by Bob Hill (Columnist for The C-J newspaper, Louisville, KY) published on Aug. 3, 2000.

Some of their relatives lived in Jeffersonville, IN at some point. We would appreciate all help in this matter.
