I would like to find out any information on WILLIAM GREENAWAY AND MARIAM GREENAWAY. He was one of the first people listed in the 1st directory of Louisville Ky. in 1836.
(Greenaway Wm. Bricklayer and grate setter, s s Jefferson b-Brook and Floyd.)
Mariam his wife died and was buried in the Western Graveyard, later used as a play ground, located on Jefferson St. between 15th and 18th Streets. Louisville Ky. There home was near the intersection of Brook and Jefferson St. If anyone has any information on this family or where they buried Mariam Greenaway after they made the Graveyard into a play ground, it would be appriciated.
