I am working on Reason Chandley(Chandler). Born 1836 Tn married Rachel Pennington 1863 in Spencer co., IN, appears on 1860 Crawford Co., IN census. Died 1879. Widow appears 1880 Ohio Twp., Crawford Co., IN. Speculate parents were James and Nancy of 1860 Ohio Twp., Crawford co., IN #1295-1297. What have you found so far?

I am researching my line of Chandlers also. My greatgrandmother was Ada Chandler. Her father was Whitfield Chandler. His father was Nathan Chandler. His father was John Chandler. I know nothing about Nathan and John. Whitfield married Sarah Adams and settled in Daviess Co. Indiana. Ada married Fletcher Noblett. Do you know of these Chandlers?

I have recently learned that my G-Grandfather; Warren W. CHANDLER (born Mar 10, 1836 in Perry County, IN) was the son of Reason/Rezin Chandler and Mary BAYSINGER. The Chandler/Basinger marriage supposedly took place in Louisville, KY although the family later lived in Perry County, I would appreciate hearing from anyone researching the Chandler/Baysinger families. In Jefferson County, Kentucky there is a Chandler Lane off of Brownsboro Road. My Dad use to say that at one time the Chandlers had a large farm there. Don't know if this will help, but you might look in Jefferson County, Kentucky
