I am looking for information and descendents of Mary E. (Ettie or Etta) Merritt who was born in Indiana (probably Orange County) abt. 1866. Her father, William, was in the newspaper business as a reporter or editor according to family tales. She married William Garland and ended up living in Kentucky probably dying after him (W. Garland died in 1938) but possibly not in Kentucky.
