Do you have any Harris family from Monroe
county Indiana?I have family from Kentucky.
looking for Isaac Harris born in 1825,and
married Rachael Ann Sipes.Both are from
Kentucky.My maiden name was Harris. Im
trying to Find info on Isaac.Who his father was ,and his mother,I have his children,but not
his parents.Is there a connection with your
Harris family and mine?If so please let me hear

My grandmother was Mary A.Harris,daughter of John Harris,and Helen Jacob.She was born in Scott Co.IN around 1855-7,and married 1874 in Scott Co.IN to William John McTarsney,whose father,John came from County Tyrone,Ireland,in 1843.John died in the Civil War,at Andersonville,GA 1864. Mary had brother Nelson,Harris who moved from Scott Co.IN to Jackson Co where he died in 1923.I believe she also had brother William Harris,who moved from Scott Co.to Shepherdsville,KY,
When my parents were married in 1926,they went from central Indiana to Shepherdsville to visit some Harris relatives,who lived there.
