I have Mitchell fam.they came to IL 1870/72 to Crawford co. in the Oblong twp.thier kids are buried in Oblong cemt. area they came from at that time Mason co. then later toJackson co. W.Va.
thier youngest was grt,grt Grandfather;b.feb.22,1863 George Washington Mitchell.His mother;Mazilda Russell b.oct.1825 also in W.Va. his father ;Cyrus b may 1825 Athens co. Ohio his father;Joseph his mother I think was Sarah Cornwell,,Geo.married to Mary Frances Russell b.Mo.she is 2nd. cousin to Mazilda Mary`s grandfather is Mazilda`s father`s bro.they all lived in the same part of W.Va. before moving toMo.Ray and Liberty counties.Mary was called Fanny she and Geo got married in Ray co.Mo.where she grew up)1893 in the J.P home.If this Mitchell fam sounds familliar write me I have thier info eccept Mazilda`s death info.I just know that she died between 1885-1890
