Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Crawford Co., Indiana: Levi T. Scott b.1816 Crawford Co. Indiana

Just found out my great grandfather Levi Thompson Scott was born in Crawford County. Have his birthdate as either 5/8/1816 or 4/3/1816.

Suspect his father is the W.C. Scott on the 1820 census, said to be William C. Scott. Levi's mother
possibly a Jane M.

After Levi moved on to Illinois and married he named his son Isaac Newton Scott. Notice that there were Newtons back in Crawford County...
wondering if there are connections.

Just happy to have the county nailed down though.
