Carol... Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you....
I show John Gerking, Sr. was born 8/27/1764 in Baden, Germany. And died between 1815-1817 in Washington County, Indiana.
Rachel Rice Gerking was born 2/27/1774 in Pennsylvania and died about 1855 in Indiana.

I am looking for information on The Gerkings, Gerkins families of Jefferson County, Ky. John Gerking and his wife Rachel Rice, His son Joseph Gerking/Gerkins & his wife Lurica Farmer. Their son William F. & his wife Pauline Bell Smith. Joseph & Lurica Gerking & William & Pauline are buried in Mt. Holly Cemetery, Fairdale, Ky. I would like to see if anyone could send pictures of their graves.
