Henry EDWARDS came to IN from KY in the early 1800's. He came with a large family, children and siblings I presume. 3 sons, William, Henry, and Harvey are all I have right now. Harvey married Lucinda A. and had 5 children: Clancy b: 1840, William Henry b: 1841, Elijah b: 1844, Reuben b: 1843, Lafayette b: 1850. William was a minister and performed marriages in his brothers home, the old Kroskill house. Henry purchased the land of Edwardsville in 1846. The land was surveyed and named for him in 1853. He was the first to be buried in Tunnel Hill Cemetery. He married Susannah F. They had 4 children that I know of: Robert b:1836, Mary E. b: 1842, Julia Anne F. b: 1846,and Harvey b:1849.
