I am trying to locate the decendants of the half sister of McKinley Burdette, age fourteen, son of J.C. & Lottie Burdette, who was killed in an explosion of a dry cleaning business located in the YMCA building in Owensboro. Another young man also died of injurys received in the same explosion. His name was Emory Flaherty, age 17.
The obit lists survivors as Miss Flora Lloyd, James Lloyd, Mrs. G.W. Hardy,& Mrs. Oscar Hinton.
I have the obit from the Owensboro Messenger and also a picture of Mack (as he was known) and his sister. I would like to get in touch with anyone who is familar with any of these names.
