I am looking for my husband's family. Alexander Hicks, Phillip Hicks, Herbert Hicks all settled in Spotsville KY in the early 1800's or late 1700's.

Looking for info on my grandmother's family. She married George W. Adams who worked on the river at Spotsville, KY on the locks. He met her while she was living on a riverboat with her family. The only name we think might be connected to her is James William Majors. Any help great, will share info freely.
