If you have found any info you could share on Lorenzo Dow Hedden from TN. I'd appreciate it. His daughter Nancy Jane married my g, grandfather James H. Eaton. I am trying to piece together the Heddens. I think they had 5 kids and his wife's name was Mary Cole from TN. I recently got ahold of some old phots and there are Hedden girls that say cousins to Aretha which would make them childrens of one of Nancy's siblings. I'm sure she had a sister Lisa/Elisa/Eliza that married a Dave Warren in Perry Co. and a brother named Dale/Dell from the photos. Thanks for any info.

Cathy, this is a long shot, but a name like Lorenzo Dow is not a common one!
My grandparents William and Minnie High lived at State Line, In.(not far from Covington) Williams ancestors came from Licking Co, Oh. Several of them moved to Arkansas. In one record I came across there was a Lorenzo Dow High. Is it possible he went to Indiana near his uncle and married there? Somewhere along the line there was another Lorenzo Dow. OR try Carroll Co, Ar. for your surname there. Might be others by that name in that area. Hope this helps somehow!

I have found Lorenzo Hedden marriages and land holding in Crawford Co. I know that he died in Gibson Co and is buried there. I can not find any of his sibling or parents. Please help I am sure he did not hatch from a egg (This is my husband relation anything possible) : )
