My name is David Belcher and my great-great-grandmother was Drucilla Enlow, born in Crawford County ca. 1850. I am looking for any connection between my family and Abraham Lincoln. A recently published book said Lincoln's real father was an Enloe from western North Carolina. It is has the been "the family legend" for generations we were related to Lincoln, through his mother but we have never been able to pin it down.
My great-great-great-grandfather was Joseph Belcher and his son, William Harrison Belcher, married Drucilla Enlow.
I would appreciate any help.
