Found an excerpt in the Jennings County History book (in the Scipio Indiana section) 1816-1999 by Turner which contained the following:
Golda Collins-Misner was living near the depot on Aug 17 1924 when she became angry with her neighbors and set fire to their house. The fire spread and, as a result, burned the old mill, the railroad station, the grain elevator, a large barn and a curio ship which housed many irreplaceable items including a large drum that was used by the British in the Revolutionary War. Oakdale Red, as Golda was called, was 30 years old when she was sent to prison for her crime. Nothing was rebuilt.

Who was this Golda Collins-Misner person? I would appreciate any info anyone may have, I have been researching the Misner family in that area and have never found this persons name before. Who was she married to and who were her parents? What happened to her? Did she die in prison?
