Benjamin Drake married Dorcas Washburn, 01 Feb. 1838 in Jefferson CO, IN. He owned land and voted in Canaaan, Shelby Twp. and was probably there from between 1833 - almost 1840. I think he was the son of Jesse Drake, an early pioneer in Ohio and Decatur CO, IN. I would appreciate any information on this family. Thank you.
