Need Kentucky info for Jonathan Watkins who married Aggie Daniel, 1805, Knox Co. KY. The last record found for Jonathan in Knox Co. was his removal from the 1808 tax records which listed his new residence as “down in Kentucky”. Where is "down in Kentucky"? Alabama census records for 1850 show his known sons, Harlan, Rial, James E., Thornton and Shelly were all born in KY between 1807 and 1818. Jonathan probably died between 1818 and the 1830 census of Jackson Co. AL where Agnes (Daniel) Watkins was listed as the Head of Household. I would appreciate any info which may help locate this family in Kentucky. Thanks, Bill Watkins.
