I doubt that I can help you, but I will say that I have a connection to a family named Becker in Louisville at the right time. I mention this because they frequently turned up as "Baker" since they were German immigrants and pronounced Becker the German way with the e sounding like a to English ears. I am looking for Johanna Fredericke Lintz Becker myself. She appears on the 1860 census as "Fredericca Baker." I have traked other members of the family with success. I wish you well. If you think I can help. contact me.
