Am looking for information on the burial place of Lewis Waymon Hannah. He died in 1867, in Plainville, Washington County, Indianna (as family records have recorded). I cannot find a Plainville, Indianna. His mother was Emily Waymon Hannah Killion. He was my Gt. Gt. Grandfather. I know some information about him. Some Civil War military items seem to indicate he was probably a calvary officer. He traveled the Mississippi and even spent time in Texas before the war. He met his wife in Memphis, on one of those trips. I am trying to find out about his military record. I have some ideas about what he did, and would like to find out if they are right or wrong.
