Yes I dare say it was a Christian Church...I go to a Christian Church. We are Christians only...not Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran or Catholic.

application on microfilm there from 1866.

I just found the marriage date of March 1869 for Charles W. Davis and Ada White Cullum (gr.grandparents) On Charles Davis'es Civil War Pension application he says it took place in Christian Church. Was there an actual Christian Church or was he referring to that as opposed to say a Catholic or Jewish church? Anyone know about local churches in that time period? Also does the county or anyone else have marriage records back that far?
