My wife has a:
Joseph Collins b. 1795, in S. Carolina
Married: Leona Coddington
Probably not yours, but close.
My wife descends from a David Collins m. Juriah Day and they had a daughter Ruhaney Collins, b1822/3 in Marion Co.IN. Ruhaney is buried in the Pottersville Cemetery, Howell Co. MO.
Juriah is told to be full blood Cherokee. Not confirmed. There are LOTS of Collins in Howell, and Ozark Co, MO!!
