I'm at a lost. I'm looking for information on Joseph Fletcher Brennan b.? d. June 6, 1881. He resided in Louisville KY, was married to Angeline Eleanor Williamson April 11, 1848. Had three children by this wife, Alfred Lawrence, Edgar Fletcher, and William Arthur. He then went on in his life to marry three more times by which he had one more child name unknown. He is buried in Louisville Cave Hill Cemetery.
He seems to have dissapeared for most of the Civil War. Although there is record his eldest son joined the Union Army at age 16, there are no records of JF Brennan in either army nor the secret service. Where did he go? Any information would be most helpful. Thank you.
