My great-Great Grandmother was Mariah Shively.
Born Oct. 26, 1854. She died in childbirth 23
Oct., 1885. She married Ephraim Walter Short
on 25 Feb., 1876. She was born in the Louiseville,
Ky. area. her father was William Henry Shively,
her mother was Maggie Jones(I have a picture of these two people with Mariah's youngest boy).
I have been told that William had something
to do with the settling of the town of Shively, KY. I would like to confirm this. I would also like birthdates and any other information anyone has on any of the above people.
