Hello, I am looking for any information on the Meschendorf family from Hannover, Germany, believed to have immigrated in 1873 and lived in Louisville, Ky. Christine, Hermann, Henry(Orange co.,IN), Diedrich & John(married Amelia Bierbaum). Albert who married Hattie Lee Drane & lived in Jefferson & Shelby counties in Kentucky. When Albert died Hattie remarried __Noe who started "Lincoln Life Insurance" in Louisville. John was in a business named "Thoben & Meschendorf" on the corner of Clay & Madison streets in Louisville in the 1870's & 80's.
