Looking for any family info on HIGGINS:

John HIGGINS m. Ruth WIGGINS, 1 Dec 1799 Mason Co, KY. Ruth b. 1766 in Hampshire Co, VA, her parents Archibald and Mary (Flint) WIGGINS.

Known children of John and Ruth (WIGGINS) HIGGINS:
1. Joseph HIGGINS, b. abt 1801, possibly in Warren Co, OH; m. Elizabeth CRAFT 15 Oct 1821 Warren Co, OH, d. Nov 1842 Hancock Co, IN
2. Madison M. HIGGINS, b. abt 1809 KY, m. (1) Anna CRAFT 20 Mar 1834 Hancock Co, IN, m. (2) Sarah FRANCIS 1848; d. ?
Madison and Anna (CRAFT) HIGGINS' children include Mariah June HIGGINS, wife of John Henry NEWLON of Tipton Co, IN; William HIGGINS; Amos HIGGINS; twins James and John HIGGINS
3. (not proven but probable) Freelove HIGGINS, m. Samuel WILSON.

John HIGGINS's father may be Amos HIGGINS, early landowner of Rush Co, IN (1821) who came from Preble and Montgomery Co, OH. He was in KY in 1797.
