Thanks for the suggestion. I did try the Woodford Kentucky HIstorical society and that is where I got the news about John Richey signing the marriage bonds for my 3 ggg grandparents richey but they would not go a bit further without $20 up front right now and then they further said they still might not be able to tell me who John Richey was, I am on a very limited budget so I am trying to do this myself as $20 to me is quite a lot of money if it doesn't do any good.

I don't know if this will be of any help, but there are a lot of Richey's now living in Muhlenberg County. I had read somewhere of an idea to put queries in classified ads in local papers. There is also a genealogical society in Muhlenberg County that may be of help. If you decide to try these avenues, I can provide you with addresses. Good luck!

Am still trying to find parents of my 3 ggg grandfather Thomas C Richey sr. m. to Mary Bonnell Blackford on 8 Aot 1798 in Woodford county Kentucky. There was a mysterious John Richey who signed their marriage bonds. Their Children were Thomas C Richey Jr, Abigail Richey, Isaiah Richey, Mary Anna, Polly and JOhn Richey. Any info hugely appreciated. any help I can give just call on me. Thanks.
