My g-g-father, Francis Marion DAVIS (aka Marion
Francis) married Emiline ? about 1865. Since in
late 1864 he deserted his cavalry unit in or
near Louisville it seems very likely that he met
Emiline there. To date I've been unable to find
their marriage location/date, or her maiden name.

Any clues would be most gratefully appreciated.
