In the early 1940's, Joseph Roden was living near the Blue Ridge Mountains with an Indian Family by the name Bear or Baer. My Grandmother told me that,in 1942,this family contacted her in Pa. and let her know that he wanted to see her before he passed. After her visit,they continued to care for him, until the time of his death. He must be laid to rest in that same area. She never told me a town or any other information other than describing how beautiful the mountains were. Any information is very appreciated
