Hi Brown researchers. My grandfather, Joel Francis BROWN b 1885 in ARK is the grandson of Elisha BROWN. Glad to know some one else is trying to find Elisha and Elizabeth WALLS BROWN. I don't think all of Elisha's family moved to ARK.

Hi:
Elisha Brown was brother to my 3rd Great Grandfather John Francis Brown. I have the names of their siblings and spouses. I did not search information for each of them since my focus was on John Francis. However I found Elisha on the 1880 Federal Census and that is how I came to calculate his date of birth as 1824 or 1825 depending on the date the census was taken.

Most of my information came from, Mack Tucker's-Families of Crawford County, IN. According to Mr. Tucker, The father of Elisha and siblings was a William Brown, no further info. provided.

Let me know if you are interested the details about siblings, etc

I am looking for information on Elisha Brown b 1824 Ky married Elizabeth Walls m 1844 in Orange County most of their children born in Taswell Crawford Co before all moved to Arkansas. Can't find any information on Elisha's family before him. Can anybody help??
