Kentuckiana Genealogy: Queries: General Queries: Albert Taylor of Willard Kentucky (Carter County)

I am trying to locate the date of death for my g-uncle Albert Taylor who lived on Taylor Branch in Willard, KY.

We are extremely puzzled because records show he wrote his will on the 28th May 1918. His will then was presented to the county clerk on the 10th of June and probated on the 13th. Yet we are unable to locate his death certificate anywhere.

He was killed in a mining accident on the Taylor property. It just seems very odd that there seems to be no records of his death...yet there is information concerning his will.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
