My great grandmother was Cindestra Euphemia Johnson from Knott county area married Colbert Hylton .I am familiar with this line & am connected to the Johnson Cabin in Pioneer Village in Eastern Ky . I have a Sidney Johnson ( Cap ) who was son of Babe Johnson & Sara Dotson

In search of information of family of James Johnson born abt. 1842 in Knox Co. Ky and his wife Mary Reynolds Runnels also born Knox Co. KY abt. 1837. Had at least 7 children some of those being Sidney, Pleasant and Columbus Marion. Believe Sidney became a lawyer. Are any of the descendants out there looking. My husband is grandson of Columbus Marion. C. M. came to Oklahoma in about 1907 or '08. He is deceased and is buried in McAlester, OK. Would love to hear of others searching genealogy of Johnsons.
