Seeking contact with anyone who has information on Drysdale ancestors from the region around New Albany and Louisville, or the Ohio River Valley in general. My great-great-grandparents were Thomas and Martha Drysdale. They bought land and ran a farm in New Albany from 1831 to 1860. They had two children I know of, James Francis Drysdale, and Martha A. Drysdale. James became an engineer on the Monon Railroad and eventually moved to Bloomington where he married Katurah E. Spencer. Martha A. married into a local Shively family around New Albany. I believe Thomas and Martha immigrated from Scotland or Ireland, and they are now both buried in the Scott Cemetery in New Albany. They may have had brothers and sisters in Indiana or Kentucky.
