I am just starting to do some family research and have very little information. My grandfather was born in Boyd county Kentucky around 1925. His mothers name was Nannie Clark. This much i can confirm. Fathers name Abraham L. Music (link). Abraham did some prison time in kentucky around 1935ish I think. I know from looking at boyd county birth records that around 1928ish an Annie Clark gave birth to a Abraham J. Music. I am assuming a connection but cannot confirm as of yet. My grandfather lied about his age and joined the navy at the age of 13 and was dishonorably discharged shortly after. He then moved to Michigan where he married my grandmother. There was a rummor that he may have married someone from Kentucky Before comming to Detroit?? Unconfirmed. If any one can help me with my research it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
