I'm trying to find the parents and siblings of my ggg-grandfather, Levi Perry GIBSON. He was born on a plantation near Louisville around 1820. His father's name was John. John and his wife died around 1830 and Levi was raised by an uncle whom he didn't get along with. He ran away to Indiana at a young age (pre-teens?), came back around 1850 to "have it out" with his uncle. Family members talked him out of it and he returned to Indiana. Can't find any Gibsons on census records, vital records or anywhere else. Would like to find out his mother's name and the names of his siblings. Does anyone have any ideas. I would be most grateful.
