I am identifying the descendants of Pleasant Brown, Sr. (1833-1913) and his first of three wives, Amanda Applegate (1840-1866)with roots in Harrison County, Indiana. I have identified 94 descendants to-date (including spouses). I would like to communicate with anyone who is related to or familiar with this family line.

My gggrandfather,Albert Lucias Brown may be from Kentucky.He was b 1874 and ran away from home. He had said his parents were killed in buggy accident and an uncle took over the 'mansion'.His uncle was mean to him so after enduring his bullwhip session he packed up on his pony (a birthday present), rode it through the ballroom thereby destroying the floor and headed north.His parents died around 1880, he ran away around 1890. He was a very good horseman. He became a good jockey in Southern Ill.I hope someone can HELP me.I need any info!

hi i am looking for a shade brown .He either married or lived with an Elizabeth Brown had a daughter martha ellen brown around . martha was borned in 1897 elliott co ky. shade and elizabeth are my gggrandparents . So many Browns, lol. Well, I am looking for Liberty Brown, who married Owen Sharp Sr., my great-grandfather. They were betrothed at a young age and had my grandfather young too. When my grand father was sixteen, Liberty Brown packed up and left my great-grandfather and grandfather. My grandfather then ran away and my great-grandfather supposedly commited suicide (lovely). So, perhaps I'm looking for Liberty Sharp? But if anyone has any info on Liberty Brown/Sharp, please let me know ASAP! I MUST know what happened to Liberty Brown!
