Hi I have a McCoy family connection in my line.
The McCoy line begins with my gr-gr-gr grandmother
Sarah McCoy who married William Legg ca. 1830.
They resided in the mid 1800's in Mason Co, VA
(WVa) sarah is said to be the daughter of David
McCoy and Margy Blake. Davis is said to be the son
of James & Jane (STUART ?) McCoy from Augusta Co,
VA later moved to Greenbrier Co, VA now part of
WVA. If you are connected in some way drop me a
