Seek information on Rebecca Jane Brown born Oct 12, 1817 in Washington Co., IN. She married Michael Fleener on Jan 1, 1837. He was the son of W. Johannes "John" Fleener and Mary Grisamore (Anglicized spelling of Griesemer). Rebecca was an heir of Nicholas Barnett; however, he was not her father and the relationship between them is not known to me. Does anyone know who her parents were? This Brown family is likely connected to Braun/Broun/Brown family of Virginia and then later Rowan Co., NC. All of the above families are of German origin. Any information is appreciated.
