Jason Little killed his wife in 1878. He was removed from Jackson to Richmond for his safety. Does anyone know the disposition of his case. He was my GG grandfather.

Jason 'Jace' Little was s/o: James & Mary Polly "Gamble" Little.
His first wife Lucinda Turner was d/o: Samuel & Sarah 'Sally' "Herald" Turner
His second wife Angeline Baker was the dau. of William Baker I don't know what her mother's name was.

According to John Ed Pearce in his book, "Days of Darkness: The Feuds of Eastern Kentucky", (page 40) "Jason Little was tried and found guilty but managed to get a sentence of life in prison and, after serving a little more than five years in the penitentiary, was pardoned and came home."

Jason Little of Breathitt Co fame left KY after being released from prison. He ended up in Indiana, remarried and had 3 boys and 3 girls. He changed his name to John M. Morgan. Have picture of him and his wife as John M. Morgan. Died 2 Sep 1915. Buried Greensburg, IN
