Kentuckiana Genealogy: Out Of Area: Breathitt Co., KY: JOHNSON

Looking for a man last name Johnson that may of fathered a son [ my Grandfather] to a Louisa or Elizabeth Caudill / Cottle .

My Grandfather Greenberry Caudill [ born 1878 ] as he was listed on the 1880 Breathitt with his mother and sisters, all using the name Caudill. I thought Louisa was a Simpkins till i found my uncle.
He told me my Grandfather - his dad, took on the Simpkins name, was his step-dad's name, that a JOHNSON fathered him and maybe his sisters. Lucinda, Rose and Perlina.

Green Simpkins is on the 1900 Lee co. with his sister Rose [ Rowland ], Green married in 1904 Breathitt Co. KY.

Realy need help finding who fathered my Grandfather Greenberry Simpkins. So i can get some where with his family tree.
