Seeking info on G.G.G.gfath William DAVIS and G.G.gfath Richard DAVIS and
their wives of Breckinridge County, KY. What I have: Richard DAVIS, b. aft 28
Jun 1835 md. Lisseran COLLINS, 6 Apr 1857 in Breckinridge County, KY. The
1860 Census of Breck. Co. shows Richard DAVIS and wife, Lezurann, with two
children: Thomas and Eliza; the 1870 Census shows 4 more children: Rozena,
Martha, Eliz., and Columbus (my G.gfath). Richard's father, William DAVIS md.
Eliza GRIFFEE, 21 Jan 1835 in Breck. Co. The 1850 Census of Breck. Co. shows
William and Eliza DAVIS with 5 children and a live-in: Misoria J, Richard,
Sarah, Matilda, Jesse, and Mary A. Dean. The 1870 Census of Breck. Co. shows
William Davis(68) with a new wife, Lydia (MAYSEY)(52); he md. His 2nd wife 14
Sep 1865 in Breck. Co. What I seek: I need the birth dates and death dates of
the above grandparents. Would also like to know the parents of William DAVIS,
Eliza GRIFFEE, and Lisseran COLLINS. Will share details with others.

ROBBINS, HANKS

Seeking info on my G.G.G.gparents, Absolom ROBBINS and Jemima (HANKS). What I
know: Absolom was b. abt 1804. Jemima was b. abt 1814. They had ten children:
Jeranda, Prales, Margaret, Caroline, Elizabeth (my G.G.gmoth), Irene, Polly,
Bourbon, Nancy, and Vitula. Absalon ROBBINS and family are listed in the 1860
Breckinridge County, KY. Census, #307. The parents of Jemima HANKS were
William HANKS, b. abt 1772 in VA. and Elizabeth ____, b. abt 1785 in VA. What
I seek: Who were the parents of Absolom ROBBINS and any dates, locations of
them? When did Asolom marry Jemima? Where and when did William and Elizabeth
HANKS settle; other dates for them; other children by them? Who were the
parents of William HANKS ? Will share any info I have.

BLAIR

Seeking info about my G.G.G.gmoth Susan BLAIR. What I have: Susan BLAIR, b.
14 Sep 1832 in Edmonson County, KY; d. aft 1900 [probably Edmonson Co.]; md.
27 Dec 1849 in Edmonson Co. to Louis W. MEREDITH, b. 24 Jan 1831; d. 3 Nov
1899. They had ten children: Mary Jane, John Lewis, George W, Margaret C,
Sarah Elizabeth, Joseph E, William Orse (my G.G.gfath), Rebecca Ann, Ida D,
and James Leslie. Susan's father was David BLAIR. I'm more than happy to
share any of the info I have accumulated on the descendants of Susan and
Louis MEREDITH. What I seek: Who was Susan's mother and dates for birth,
marriage to David, and death of both parents? Where did Susan's parents come
from? Will share any data I have.

MEREDITH, SANDERS, SKAGGS

Seeking vital statistics and other info on my G.G.G.G.G.gfath Joseph "Old
Joe" Abraham MEREDITH and his son, my G.G.G.G.gfath Joseph Abraham MEREDITH,
Jr., and their spouses. What I have: Old Joe was born abt 1762 in Russell
Co., VA.; he died 24 Oct 1840 [probably Edmonson County, KY.]. He was married
abt 1780 to Nancy (SKAGGS) b. abt 1760; d. April 1840; her father was Charles
SKAGGS. The only known son of Old Joe was Joseph, Jr., b. abt 1791 in VA.; d.
13 Oct 1867 at location unknown. His 1st wife was Catherine (SANDERS);
marriage date unknown. Catherine died 1817 in Edmonson County, KY., and
Joseph Jr. remarried 6 Apr 1817 in Edmonson Co., to Elizabeth (SANDERS), b.
abt 1792; d. 1850-1860. Elizabeth was presumably Catherine's sister. What I
need: Would like to know the parents of "Old Joe" MEREDITH and where they
were from with dates; where was Nancy SCAGGS born and died. Who was Nancy
SKAGGS' mother; and where were her parents from and dates? Did Old Joe and
Nancy have other children and who? Did Joseph Jr. and Catherine have any
children? Did Joeseph Jr. and Elizabeth have any children other than my
G.G.G.gfath Louis W.? Who were Elizabeth and Catherine SANDERS' parents? Will
share any info I have.

TROXLE/TROXELL, JONES, KEITH

Seeking info about my G.gfath Peter TROXLE. Little is known about Peter's
vital statistics such as: when & where was he born, when did he marry Delia
KEITH, and who were Peter's parents and where did they come from? I do know a
few of Peter's children: Clarence (my gfath), David, and Fred. Ky Death Index
Summary indicates Peter died 7 Sep 1935 at the age of 54 in Jefferson County,
KY. Peter is purported to be the son of Bill TROXELL and Nancy (JONES). Nancy
died giving birth to Peter. While Bill had other children to rear and
support, caring for a newborn was impossible. So, a Baptist minister reared
the young boy. When Peter began school, his teacher told him he was spelling
his name incorrectly. Thus the transformation from TROXELL to TROXLE
occurred. I'm attempting to make the firm connection between Peter TROXLE and
Bill TROXELL. Appreciate any info on Peter TROXLE, Bill TROXELL with a wife
named Nancy in the 1870's in KY. Will trade info I have.

Seeking info about G.G.G.gfath Thomas SIMMONS and G.G.gfath Thomas SIMMONS. Wh
at I know: Thomas SIMMONS, Jr., b. 22 Jul 1846 in VA; md. 10 Nov 1870 to Mary
Elizabeth (MEADOR) in Breckinridge County, KY. They had 5 children: James M,
Franklin, George T, Annie E, and Bertie M (my G.gmoth). Thomas Jr. and Mary
both died in Breck. Co. Thomas Sr. had at least 3 children by his 1st
marriage (wife unknown): Thomas Jr., E.C., and P.M. Based on Breck. Co.
records, Thomas, Sr., b. abt 1828, as he was 35 when he married his 2nd wife
Nancy ALLEN, 27 Sep 1863. Thomas Sr. and his mother and father were born in
Franklin County, VA. What I seek: I need to know the first wife of Thomas Sr.
and the birth, marriage, and death dates of the two and any other children
they may have had. As for Thomas Jr., I need to know when he died and where
buried. Will share details with others.
