The September issue of The Signal is out!
The latest edition of the USIHS newslett er names the Hood County
Genealogical Society site as the third winner of the prestigious Siggy award,
citing its many searchable online data bases as "outstanding" and of
immeasurable help to researchers whose family stems from that corner of
Texas.
And it tells how that site came to include papers salvaged from the city
dump!!!
