My mother-in-law's family is from the southern Indiana area which falls
into the "Kentuckiana" territory. Specifically, I am looking for
information about the ancestors of:

Jacob DEEL, b. 14 July 1910 in Orange Co., IN (I believe) and d. Aug. 1974
Houston, TX. His father was George Washington DEAL and his mother was
Margaret LEASER DEAL. Unfortunately I don't have any places or dates for
that generation.

Jacob married Sylvia Jewell DRAKE, b. 25 April 1915 in Orange or Crawford
Co., IN and d. May 1977 Houston, TX. Sylvia's parents were Perry DRAKE
and Leora BEATTY DRAKE.

Jacob and Sylvia DEEL had one stillborn infant and four daughters that
lived: Doris Sue, Wanita, Carol (my mother-in-law), and Jeannie.

At this point in time all my other ancestors come from other counties in
Indiana and Kentucky which aren't considered Kentuckiana.
