Services are scheduled Tuesday for Cilvan Edward Francis, 69, of Yuba City, who died Jan 24, 1991, in Red Bluff.
A general building contractor, he had lived in the Yuba-Sutter area 50 years. He was a former troopmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1 of Marysville, and a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a avid photographer. He was a native of Harvey Flatt, Ind.
He is survived by his sons, David Francis of Yuba City, Anthony Francis of West Linn, Ore., and Louis Francis of Pensacola, Fla.; his daughters, Maureen Pulaski of Ben Lomond, Sara Chaffin of San Jose and Kathleen Harmon of Carmichael; his sisters, Ruby Houser of Michigan and Edna Atwood of New Albany, Ind.; and his brothers, Robert Francis of Jefferson, Ind., and Frank Francis of Greenville, Ind.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Isisore's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Bishop officiating. Private inurnment is planned in Sutter Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
