Died July 23, 19??, Louisville, Kentucky.

Louis Kramer Hobbs, 50, a life long resident of Perry county, died in St. Joseph's Infirmary, Louisville, at 6:55 a.m. last Thursday, July 23. He had been ill three years and was confined in the hospital for sometime prior to his passing.

He was born in Clark township August 5, 1902, the son of James and Sarah Jane Ransome Hobbs. He attended township schools and was married August 2, 1938 to Miss Elfia Wright. His last residence was in the vicinity of St. Croix. He did live for a short time in Chicago. Since he was ill and hospitalized his wife and mother moved to Tell City and resided at 668 Sixteenth street.

Surviving are the wife and mother of Tell City and one half mother of Tell City; one half brother, Oscar Howe, Chicago; two half sisters, Mrs R.E. (Sabra) Snell and Mrs J.J. (Lula) Lutz, both of Boonville.

The deceased was a member of the Church of Christ.

The body was at Zoercher Gillick Funeral home in Tell City, until noon Sunday. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Foster's Ridge church, Uniontown, with the Rev Popper of Boonville officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
