Alton - Mrs Benjamin Mead, 81, died Thursday night in her home near here. She was the former Delta Ridge, and spent her entire life in this community. Surviving are her husband; a sister, Mrs Ella Hodgins, Sanford, Fla., and a brother, Lochel Ridge, Louisville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stephenson Funeral Home in Leavenworth.
