Mary True Parr -- Mrs Mary True Parr, 75 of 326 1/2 East Sixth Street, Mt. Carmel passed away early Friday morning, February 13 at the Wabash General Hospital. She was born in Crawford County, Indiana, January 27, 1895, the daughter of John and Nettie {Bradley Jenkins. On October 25, 1911 whe was married to William Andrew Parr, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons; Eldon of Mt. Carmel, Charles E. of Rural route 2, Mt. Carmel and William A. of Petaluma, California; one brother, Otho Jenkins of Indianapolis, Indiana; three sisters, Mrs Ruby Williams of Mt. Carmel, Mrs Vena Gray of Princeton, Indiana and Mrs Callie Desch of Indianapolis, Indiana; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mrs Parr was a member of the General Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held from the Roy D. Sort Company Memorial Chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev Everett Wright and Rev. Thomas Koker officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday.
